Employee Assistance Program
One of the programs CSPA has initiated is to provide better assistance and support in the event of a traumatic incident or a fatality. While these events are rare, we want to ensure that each dropzone is adequately prepared to manage the pressures caused by an occurrence.
CSPA would like to ensure that DZ staff, skydivers and/or witnesses have access to critical incident services. CSPA has partnered with Morneau Shepell, a renowned provider of the Employee Assistance Program. Dropzones will be able to access (at their own cost) Trauma Support services (group counselling) and Registered Participants will be able to access (at their own cost) individual counselling services.
Morneau Shepell is one of North America’s leading Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers. During our 36 years of service, we have emerged as a leader in workplace mental health and wellbeing. A core competency of Morneau Shepell is to assist organizations during times of crisis.
The scope and breadth of experience of our trauma department is unparalleled in the industry. Our team responds to approximately 750 critical incidents a month and serves a number of high incident/crisis ready employers.
We are also pleased to announce that we’ve entered into a partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC). As Mental Health Partner of the Canadian Olympic Team, Morneau Shepell will provide Canadian athletes, coaches, and their families, with full access to Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) services via the Game Plan program.
