About the CNTC
The Competition and National Teams Committee (CNTC) is made up of dedicated volunteers who look after all phases of competition. It was formed to oversee and guide membership participation in National and International Competition. CNTC members are selected for their knowledge as competitors, judges, competition organizers and ideally represent all skydiving disciplines. The CNTC's responsibilities include:
- Informing and advising the membership on matters related to competition;
- Establishing and maintaining the Competition Manual PIM 4 including the National Hosting Manual and in conjunction with the Judging Committee the National Parachuting Rules;
- Overseeing and administering the Canadian Parachuting Records program;
- Administering the selection of bids for the Canadian Nationals and overseeing the conduct of same
- Overseeing the selection of CSPA’s National Team and delegation personnel including the documentation and registration of Canada’s athletes at international and world championships;
- Administering the National Teams Manual and assisting with the dissemination of Team Fund monies to National Team competitors
- Coordinating with CSPA’s International Skydiving Delegates and disseminating appropriate information regarding World Cup, World Championships and changes to the ISC rules; and
- Providing assistance to Members and Registered Participants regarding competition including hosting and competing at them.
