Project-Based Contract Graphic Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer on a project-based contract basis to support the organization with graphic design needs as projects arise.

The successful candidate will have strong Adobe InDesign skills and the ability to create clean, professional, and visually consistent materials for print and digital use.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and format manuals, reports, training materials, presentations, posters, newsletters, and other communications.
• Use Adobe InDesign to create professional layouts, templates, and multi-page documents.
• Create and edit graphics using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Apply organizational branding consistently across all materials.
• Prepare files for print and digital distribution.
• Review materials for accuracy, formatting, and visual consistency.
• Work with internal teams to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Complete projects within agreed-upon timelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign is required.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, and visual communication.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant design work is an asset.
