About the JC

The Judging Committee is a small group of volunteer judges who support the CSPA by dealing with all matters associated with judging skydiving activities and include the following: 

  • Administer the CSPA Judges' Rating Program. 
  • Recruit and training of potential judges 
  • Support CNTC, Meet Director, Chief Judge, Hosting Organization in the planning and conduct of the Canadian National Parachuting Championships 
  • Revise, update and maintain PIM 4B, 4E and Judging Manuals 
  • Support the cadre of Canadian Judges with seminars and practice session to maintain rating currency and judging proficiency  
  • Submits to ISC, on an annual basis, the list of FAI rated Judges 
  • Submits to ISC, on an annual basis, Judge nominations to the Panel of Judges for World Cups and World Championships 
  • Provide advice and assistance to organizations planning activities requiring judge support like record attempts or local competitions.
