2018 Virtual Competition!

Join the Virtual Canadian Competition in 2018

Fellow skydivers, do you enjoy competing? How about hanging out with your local buddies and doing some fun jumps? Or better yet, competing against skydivers across Canada?  This year, August 4th to the 26th, the CSPA is going to be hosting a virtual competition.

What is a virtual competition, you ask?

AGM 2018

The CSPA is pleased to announce that the 2018 AGM will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. 

The meeting will be held at: Toronto Marriott Hotel
901 Dixon Road, Toronto, ON (416) 674-9400.

Registration for voting Members commences at 8:15 a.m. and will close at 8:45 a.m.

The Board of Directors wishes to extend an invitation to any Registered Participants that wish to attend.

Affiliation Fees

Information for CSPA Registered Participants

 

It has been five years since affiliation fees were last increased (from $84 to $89) to manage increased operating costs for the CSPA. Since 2012 we have focused on better budgeting practices and cutting expenses to avoid fee increases, but the reality is; while our sport is growing in new disciplines and certainly evolving, CSPA is not increasing participant numbers.

Symposium 2020

2016 was such a success that we want to do it again!

We’re putting together a small organizing committee to assist in planning the 2020 Canadian Parachute Training Symposium and we’re looking for volunteers to join!

Team Fund: Wingsuit

A note from the CSPA office:

Wingsuit is now an official discipline of the CSPA National Team, however, we are currently experiencing delays in integrating this into our system.

If you wish to donate to the Wingsuit portion of the Team Fund, please either:

a) Donate online to the Team Fund and email michelle@cspa.ca or office@cspa.ca informing that the donation is to be directed towards Wingsuit;

UPDATE: CSPA and Indoor Skydiving

April 22, 2016: Update on the 2016 AGM vote on Indoor Skydiving

Dear Members and Registered Participants,

At the 2016 AGM held in Trenton, ON, the following motion was passed:

“Be it resolved that CSPA adopt Indoor Skydiving as a competition discipline and to that end, amend the purpose of CSPA to include “competition indoor skydiving” subject to approval from CRA to change and that I.S. participants and tunnel activities be excluded from access to the defence and current team funds.”
