The Alberta Sport Parachute Association fosters the growth and development of the sport of parachuting throughout the Province of Alberta.

The Descenders are a group of jumpers, primarily in southern Ontario, who wish their CSPA affiliation to remain independent of the drop zones at which they jump. 

The Descenders are in favour of skydiver's freedoms. NO MANDATORY AAD'S: While we encourage AAD use, we believe that there are circumstances in which current and experienced (licensed) jumpers may wish to jump without an AAD.
